Amy is an experienced leader of large-scale operations who develops and guides initiatives that ensure the successful delivery of virtual and in-home palliative care services. She excels in utilizing financial and operational metrics to identify opportunities for growth, and uses her expertise in working with health plans, providers, and clinical leadership to support new operating models. Amy is also known for building high-performance teams that successfully manage costs, reach quality performance benchmarks, and improve healthcare outcomes.

Prior to leading our palliative care division, Amy was the Chief Operating Officer at Healthmine where she led day-to-day operations, client management, and product strategy. As the Vice President of Quality Improvement at WellCare, she instituted the corporate strategy to improve care for more than 1.2 million members, while overseeing cross-functional groups that achieved top-rated performance metrics. Amy’s work as the Director, Quality Improvement at Blue Shield of California included leading the data-driven strategy for quality improvement programs.

Amy earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She also holds an Improvement Advisor certification from the Institute of Healthcare Improvement and a Lean certification in healthcare from the University of California, Los Angeles.
