Dr. Saria Saccocio

East Regional Chief Medical Officer

Saria is a results-oriented healthcare leader specializing in strategic planning, program development, and equitable healthcare. As a collaborative and decisive leader, she works to develop her staff, manage relationships, and create strategic initiatives to deliver improved patient care outcomes.

Saria has more than 20 years of experience leading award-winning, quality programs and improving patient care across the health continuum. Before joining our team, she served as Chief Medical Officer with several health systems, including Prisma Health, Bon Secours, and Lifepoint Hospitals.

Saria earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida. She also received an executive master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Saria completed her family medicine residency at the University of Miami before opening a family practice. She continues to serve patients at the Greenville Free Medical Clinic.

Saria was recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the top 100 Hospital and Health System Chief Medical Officers to Know and was elected to be part of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
